Still not quite sure why they import Rusty Wallace to broadcast IRL races... Apparently they enjoy commentary that begins with "Well, back when I drove here" and ends with "and that's just the way it was in my day."

raced, no. but he has taken laps at Homestead in one of Roger's cars at least. so he has some clue about the cars, but Scott Goodyear (who is great IMO) is the guy to listen to.

it sucks the race was shortened but it was nice they were able to get the track dry and go back out for a little while.

i was much in impressed with what Ashley Judd had to say regarding Dario winning. nice to see she's not just there to be a pretty face. and it helps to see her in a soaked dress.

Michael has announced his retirement and while he never won the race himself, it's nice to see him in Victory Lane as a car owner. i have a feeling we will see Marco in Victory Lane before it's all said and done. it was also really cool to see all the AGR drivers congratulating Dario after the race. that's a classy team at AGR.

all in all, i had a great weekend (as always) and already can't wait for next year. my liver however, might tell you otherwise.

I've always be an Michael fan. He was dominant for a while in CART on every type of circuit they ran.

Marco impressed me Sunday. I wasn't sure if he was a legacy or a real talent. Sunday showed him to be fearless and quite talented. He had the most impressive passes of the day.

Agree completely on AGR - looks like the closest, most fun team to be on in all of racing. Those guys are really tight. They're still tight with Weldon too - quite impressive.
