You probably have a 100% chance of being exposed. I haven't seen any population whether isolated or open where more than 20% contracted the virus even under constant close contact. But I'm with you. I even have some elevated risk factors and still refuse to live my life in fear of something so unlikely to hurt me when compared to other things... that we pretty much ignore every day. For instance, I suspect no one here is as concerned about trip hazards as they are getting within 6' of someone at Walmart.... yet about 35,000 Americans die each year from all "slips, trips, and falls".

One of the misleading things creating widespread Covid panic is that they are reporting people who die "with" Covid-19 as a Covid-19 death. An Illinois health official was so blunt as to say that if someone went in to hospice with a short time to live due to some other cause and was found to have Covid-19... they list Covid-19 as causes of death. The 35,000 who die in falls... by and large die FROM the fall. If a heart attack caused the fall... it is called a heart attack death.

The way Covid-19 is deaths are being counted is patently dishonest considering the comparisons to causes like the flu that are NOT counted so "liberally".

I’m almost 64 so I’ve got to pass on the airplane. I stillenjoy my job so it would suck to lose it but at my stage in life, my health is more important than more cash.

In fact, I have told my boss that I won’t fly for business for the rest of this year. He said he totally understood.

Nope, I can find another job. I've only got one life and to many at risk people in it.
