Injury Report for Georgia?

One of their DB's is out the first half for targeting.

This is partially incorrect. He targeted EARLY in the game and sat out the remainder of the game, so he will be eligible to play after 6 or 8 minutes have gone by in the first quarter.

It happened in the first half...he sat out the remainder of the game...thus he doesn't have to sit out any next week!

This is correct.

This is correct. As far as I can understand it, the rule states that the ejected player must sit for the equivalent of one full game, so if that's right, then he's only gotta sit a few minutes to account for actual played time.

Could be wrong but NCAA rules state "if the he foul occurs in the first half of a game, the player is ejected for the remainder of the game. If the foul occurs in the second half or overtime of a game, the player is ejected for the remainder of the game and the first half of the next contest."

So based on that he will be back for the start of the game. Maybe its changed since last year but I coundlt find any evidence of that change.

Seeing reports that Gurley and Chubb are both out for the UT game. I'd post a link, but I'm headed to bed.

(*edit: whoever #3 is for the leghumpers and Chubb. IDGAF enough to look and see who it is.*)

Gurly will be playing Saturday. Todd Gurley, who sat out most of the last three quarters, is also in good health. “No issues with Gurley,” Richt assured. “We just didn’t feel like he needed to be in there anymore so we let him rest.”
Richt also gave brief updates on players that were injured or unable to play against Troy. Quincy Mauger and Damian Swann will likely be ready to play against Tennessee, but Keith Marshall’s status is unknown. Marshall, who recently finished recovery for an ACL tear, suffered a leg injury in the second half.

that is the rule.. nothing else has changed other than if they reverse it there is no 15 yard penalty.. jj green will be starting most likely.

Mitchell and Scott-Wesley are the deep threats. Mitchell won't play. Scott-Wesley hasn't played since he tore his ACL at UT last year. He may play, which would help UGA. He was the state champ at 100 and 200 meters, at 210#.

Fenteng is now out for the season with shoulder surgery. He was UGA's match up corner against big receivers.

Well, we should be able to pass the ball effectively as long as Worley isn't getting slammed to the turf every play.
