Injury Updates?

The open date is a good time for all bumps and bruises to heal up some. Gives us time to work on things that need working on and to prepare for our upcoming opponents. We get to watch the aggies and the tide play each other this weekend. We also get to see Georgia and Kentucky. We need to use this time wisely and cover all bases. GBO!

Not sure what injury they listed for Thornton Jr but saw a couple of videos that lead me to believe he'll be ok
Read or heard somewhere it was a hamstring injury but should be back for Oct. 14 game.

I was watching Mays every time the camera was on him. He just looked tired and out of breath to me. Cubelic expounded on it more than once.

That being said I am sure he’s sore today at a minimum.

Beasley has been nursing a nagging injury all season. Still don’t know what it is yet.

I saw several videos and some still shots of Bru’s leg. I now believe it was more than a broken ankle. Definitely looked like one of the bottom two leg bones (tibia or fibula?) were broken. He whole foot was sideways. Could still be an ankle i guess, but Im not an emergency room doc or whatever.
Haha. There were some great shots of him.

Ol boy was sucking wind.

Super tough for taking as many snaps as he did.

Yep, Ollie at left guard is a whole better than Ollie at center. Thought he played well last night.
It was definitely better than at center. Ollie is the ultimate backside tackle. He doesn’t move people as much as he just bows up.

It may be a hamstring, but the way Heupel talked about him, he may have been in the doghouse. Heupel said he is going to have to play better, so he may not have been pleased with his effort so far this season and decided to send him a message. It will be interesting to see if he has more fire when he sees the field again.
