Since I'm so used to us being left at the alter in situations like these, I will just refuse to believe it until he signs on the dotted line.

And I will gladly pour BBQ sauce all over my crow and eat it if I'm wrong, because I really really want to be, but maybe it's just being conditioned to think like this after so many years of watching it go the other way.

Maybe he is trying the perfect setup on everybody so the word will be out that he is going to UT, only to sign with UGA and shock the world.

I can't help but wonder if this would have ever happened without Dooley. I just don't feel confident Nash would have turned and then Rogers if the old cronies were still here. Props to Chaney for sure, I just think he would have been held back. The old regime would have made this an obvious package deal and probably killed it in the end.

Without Dooley, Rogers name would not have been brought up as a possibility. Nance and Rogers both said they were not a package deal. But you cannot say getting Nance didnt help our chances with Rogers. So IMO, HelloKiffin could not have pulled this off no matter how many voilations/rules he broke.

I hate to be "that guy" but I have to bring up the fact O did set up this visit. One of the few good things left in the wake of those vipers, may they rot in Southern Cal.

You're right in that he opened the door, my point being with the old staff we would have never sealed the deal. They didn't want Nance, he's Chaney's guy. They would have somehow made it a package and screwed it up.

the coach i talked to does not like uga. he is a fan of another sec team, not ut either.

called uga coach ball last night and told him he would be signing with ut. he was not at school today so the suspension thing is a definate possibility. school is full of uga homers.

I am with you Bigun. I hope for the best, but expect the worst. Although I believe the stunt setup is more Amble's style than Rogers. We'll see.

Sure, you can go 5 wide...just have to have one WR on each side up on the line of scrimmage and not 'off'. 5 OL + 2 WR on the line is seven and is a legal formation. The other 3 WR would have to be off the LOS and are therefore technically, backs. GBO! :rock:

UGA fans are talking a lot of crap!! They are cursing him telling him he's too dumb to get into school... he sucks...he's lazy. He is just answering with a thanks and lol . He's got good character!!! UT fans didn't even act that bad when Marlon Brown ditched us!!! Show's who has the better character!! Da'Rick you've made the right choice!!!!

Wow. I actually looked at his Fbook page from a link from the GA site. That's awful. I mean just awful. "No Class boy" Wtf is that? Pathetic GA fans. They should be embarrassed. Props to the few GA fans who posted with some class and wished him some luck.

There are probably more with class than without; the UGA board format sucks and probably keeps the good fans away. Kind of like listening to sports talk on the small AM stations; they can be good , but you can hear some real winners on those shows.
