I'm simply saying, one by one when Mullen, Strong, and Tebow left things got progressively worse, culminating with this season. Given the performance of this year, and last year without Mullen calling the plays, I seriously doubt Meyer wins the titles and looks as smart as he does over the last 5 years without those three at the helm. I mean really...it took 3 games to get the center/QB exchange correct this year....yes, 3 GAMES. This is rebuilding? Even during its down years, LSU never looked this bad.

I'm not going to sit here and pretend as if I know what the future has in store for the Gators. What I do know is the Gators are an extremely young team, going through a transitional period involving major staff and personell changes. The team has also been plagued with injuries and thrown off with a suspension. They were throttled by Bama, but the last two game could have easily gone the other way. So are the Gators in a bad place? Yes. Do I expect them to remain in such a state? If coaching changes are indeed looming, then no.

Inane comparisons? Did you not use these same inane comparisons to make your own point? All I hear from the UF yahoos are BGSU and Utah arguments when the coaching fortitude of their drama queen is questioned.

My issues wasn't with the Petersen/Meyer comparisons. It was with your assertion that winning at Florida is as easy as winning at BSU.
