Just found this post, and not sure what to think about coach Z, he was known for only wanting blockin( WR's when he was at Florida also...I don't just want our WR's to be blocking dummies...

I got a buddy who is a recruiting intern and he is assigned to work with coach azzani. his job is to review recruits game film and find guys who he thinks are the best prospects and then he will send their film up to coach z. he was looking at the film of travis rudolph earlier in the year and he really liked him because of his play making ability and his speed and body build. so my friend sends his film to coach z. he and coach sat down and talked about rudolph and my friend was telling him everything he liked about it and coach z said i i see what you are saying but can he block? my friend was caught off guard because film doesnt always show that part of the game, so he said im not sure but its undeniable that this kid can do some pretty special things and coach just said i do not care if he can run a 4.3 or has a 45 in veritcal i want guys who can block and help marlin get a couple thousand yards this year. my buddy just couldnt believe he would pass on rudolph because he didnt know for sure he could block. i told him get used to it lol. just thought id share this with you guys. caoch azzani eventually offered him btw

Not trying to be a butt cheese here, but it's getting more difficult for me to tolerate reading posts of any length where phrasing, spelling, capitalization and punctuation are horrendous.

Love to hear that our WR coach would pass on Randy Moss.

Randy Moss was a freak athlete receiver. But let's not act like if he were a good blocker, or even decent blocker, or even poor blocker that gave even a little bit of effort, that it wouldn't have made his teams better. Imagine how it would've helped the RBs out if Moss was out there blocking. And it isn't like his fingers are full of championship rings either. Maybe he would have a couple if he wasn't such a selfish, one-dimensional player.
