The binder contained raw intelligence the US and its NATO allies collected on Russians and Russian agents, including sources and methods that informed the US government’s assessment that Russian President Vladimir Putin sought to help Trump win the 2016 election, sources tell CNN.

Just minutes before Joe Biden was inaugurated, Meadows rushed to the Justice Department to hand-deliver a redacted copy for a last review. Years later, the Justice Department has yet to release all of the documents, despite Trump’s declassification order. Additional copies with varying levels of redactions ended up at the National Archives.

But an unredacted version of the binder containing the classified raw intelligence went missing amid the chaotic final hours of the Trump White House. The circumstances surrounding its disappearance remain shrouded in mystery.

The binder’s origins trace back to 2018, when Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee, led by Chairman Devin Nunes, compiled a classified report alleging the Obama administration skewed intelligence in its assessment that Putin had worked to help Trump in the 2016 election.

So the Republicans, chiefly Nunes, compiled this report to show skewed intelligence on the 2016 election interference. The binder therefore contained the information and human intel surrounding how that occurred. A REDACTED copy or copies, promoted by the GOP have been floating around. But the original? The one with all the actual evidence and information in it?

Gone missing in the waning hours of the Trump presidency.

This would supposedly be helpful to Trump and not show any significant interference. Trump wanted at least parts of it released and parts of it were.

But the original, with all of the other material?

Sounds like someone within the Biden administration "misplaced" it.

The most damming thing in the article I saw was how various government agencies defied a presidents orders to declassify and release information.

This deserves its own thread. There is a binder floating around out there with names and sources on Russian intelligence. Regardless of its content, it is major news that it has gone missing.

It was also people in his own administration trying to keep him from releasing too much sensitive information. You know, like he does when he wants to brag to a couple of reporter chicks, showing them submarine nuke capabilities.

Sure but he gave the order and various bureaucracies defied it, that is not how it's supposed to work.

Lawgoober the Binder is with the Epstein flight logs. But we already have multiple threads by you with random subjects. This board would benefit by consolidating some of you random thoughts. What you think is important and deserving of a thread is not in line with everyone else.

Then there must be something in it so sensitive that they had to struggle to keep Trump from disclosing it.

The implication is that it's gone missing bc there is information in that binder that Trump wants released. So info that makes him look good. Safe to say Trump wasn't involved in it going missing. At least not intentionally
