Interesting notes from CBS's Seth Davis

Who Knows we are really good at home and terrible on the road. Which on a neutral court who knows how that turns out except in the first game as the higher seed the crowd usually is a tilt for the underdog so it could get ugly. That being said if they survive they would likely play a 3 seed in the second round which would put us in a slight fan favorite roll as the new underdog except usually the higher seeds travel well so could be truly neutral which we would need a good matchup to advance. Also the early tournament was so long ago and such a different team you cant really judge that fairly.

This team hasn't played well in awhile and yes they played "ok" against a decent USC team that played really really bad.

I thought they played pretty well on Saturday. Oh and USC didn't play really really bad, they are really really bad. Besides Downey(who didn't play all that well), South Carolina sucks.

Don't forget that sucky team beat ky. In the SEC don't count anybody out on any given night:good!:

Kentucky has zero business losing to a team like South Carolina. I know, I know, road play in conference but regardless. Kentucky is about to drop a few games.

The way this team is playing and the remaining schedule I would be satisfied with a 6 seed.

6 seed is too hard to say which is best of all time unless you use the bar that says which 6 seed went the furthest in the tournament. Thats a good question, Hat do you know if any sixes have made the final four?

6 seeds have won the tournament before.

We can win out and get a 3-4. If we do as I expect I think we'll get around a 6. If we totally tank we can put ourselves in another situation like last season.

Kansas in '88 and NC State in '83 won it all as #6 seeds...

thats what I wanted was specifics. Hey I dont think there are any teams as good as NC State had to defeat. phi Slamma Jamma was tough. And that Danny manning team was comparable to ours. I would say stranger things have happened but I cant say that considering our postseason history.

Given our postseason history, especially under Pearl, I'll believe it when I see it that this team makes a big postseason run.

In the tourney it all depends on the seeding and the matchups. As long we don't have to play teams with a strong inside presence, we have a good chance. We've shown that we can beat the top teams like Kansas because besides Aldrich, who isn't all that dominating anyway, they have no big bodies to bang around. But yet we struggle and get blown out by teams like UGA, Vandy twice and USCw, and they all have more than one big man in the paint and they are physical.

If we get into a bracket with teams that we matchup well with, then we can make a run. BUT, we will have to have stepped up play from everybody and not just Chism.

Basically meaning that Woolridge might actually have to score or maybe even get a rebound.

Our team doesn't have a Danny Manning on it, not even close. But Pearl is a better coach than Brown.

Utterly stupid is more apt than odd.

Be careful, I used the phrase "utterly stupid" two weeks ago. Wouldn't want these geniuses to start calling you Emain Jr.

Seriously though, JuiceyBrucey has to be someone's alter-web persona. No way anyone seriously believes that garbage.
