Not all happy in Gator land with recruits at the moment and not sure where UT regarding position to with them but again an interesting read.

According to multiple reports, four-star running back Mike Bellamy, a Clemson commit, left The Swamp at halftime because the game, and the Gators’ offense was “boring.”

According to 247Sports.com, four-star tight end A.C. Leonard left UF’s 33-29 loss to LSU disappointed, saying that the game was tough to watch.

“Yeah, I guess,” Leonard told 247Sports.com when asked if he was still orally committed to UF.

Yea, the other day I saw the quote where Bellamy left at Half

as far as he goes, right after his HS game, he claimed to be "100% committed to Clemson", so I dont know if that played a part as well

The concern for UF is though if instate players are concerned you can imagine what players from GA and others might be thinking. A big difference when a player who grows up a UF fan is not happy vs someone from out of state. Again especially in GA where schools like UT have done well in the past and combine that with CMR possibly being pushed out thet state of GA is wide open.

I thought about that as well but when you look beneath the surface there are different problems here. UF has depth and a great deal of talent but is also starting some younger players. Ut has no depth has limited talent at many positions (especially on defense) and is starting a quite a few young players.

In UF's case a lot of the blame seems to be put on the system under Addazio, UT's issues are blamed on young players, a new system under new coaching and very little depth.

I've been saying this for years-why higly touted skill position guys continue to go there baffles me. Tebow masked a lot of issues with that offense-which is what Cam Newton is doing at Auburn right now. Florida's offense is boring-and painful to watch at times.

It's truly amazing how pedestrian that offense looks without Tebow, Harvin and Mullen

Yeah, I can't see how all the UTAH and Gator fans have been able to stand watching all those ten win seasons with that awful offense.. LMAO.

Wide receivers, tight ends and QB's especially should not go there since the have hardly any in the NFL. (jeez)

Percy Harvin, Aaron Hernandez, and who is the QB you are referring to Alex Smith or Tebow. Not a very good list.

yeah the play calling is going to hurt us with many offense recruits because NONE of these kids want to play in Steve's "boring" offense. As for Bellamy kid needs to come out a tell the truth, he left the game because Mike Blakely showed up later in the first quarter and he got a case of penis envy. Because the fans in the recruit section where showing him mnore love. One fan sitting a row back said something about him atleast looking to stay in the SEC and not running off to the ACC...soon after Bellamy was out. lol

who cares? .... we got the Dooley three stars

Dude. Take it from experience. DO NOT bash Dooley's recruiting tactics. You've got some really thin skinned people on this board. I am officially done commenting about a players' "stars", regardless of how I feel about the commit. Some on here seem to have forgotten that this is a MESSAGE BOARD and not everybody's opinions are the same. Anyways. Go Big Orange!

The problem is you have no idea what you're talking about and you just end up looking foolish most of the time.

Have you ever invested in mutual funds? After each fund's performance record and rating, you will always see the following disclaimer: "Past performance is no guarantee of future results."

Maybe, without St. Tebow, the Gators are on their way down. Maybe some recruits would rather take a chance on a program that is hopefully on the way up. UT? :dunno:

Like mutual fund investors, recruits are free to make their own choices in life. (And live with the consequences.)

Riley Cooper, David Nelson, Lou Murphy and few other are in the NFL making an impact with teams. Tebow covered up mistakes last season but before this Meyers offense was one of the most productive in the country. Ranked in the Top 10 before Mullen took the MSU job.
