No. The "Percy" position was being filled by other players this season. Kind of like the Bama game last year. Only problem then was no one had any experience with those plays. This season those other players have been practicing them religiously at camp.

Debose was / is the eventual successor but he still considered a backup.

Does it hurt for next year? Absolutely. This year, no.

False... Debose is as big if not bigger to them than Nukeese is to UT. This means any more injuries to someone at the "Percy Position" (very probable at their position with their size) and they have maybe one legitimate speedy replacement. Remember one will probably be playing RB.
