Recruiting high school kids will be a thing of the past soon. Transfer portal is the preferred method. You know more about what your getting.

HS recruiting will always be the main go to. You can’t rely on the portal year after year.

Well, it worked out for OU when they got Hurts. But he was a proven talent in that case.

As well as Mayfield and Murray, though those two were before the portal. Burrow at lsu worked out OK too.
