what if after the win Coach K loans BP the Duke time machine to go back to that BBQ/cookout so he can say, "I'm sorry folks but you can't be here it's against the AA rules...we don't want to get anybody in trouble." But Coach K will only loan him the time machine if he comes back to a time where Duke beat us. Do you take the win or go back?

If the NCAA doesn't his Pearl with a show-cause penalty, then I would think another elite 8 would make it tough to fire the guy.

That all this BP crap will be motivation for the team? I was begining to think this was the worst possible time to come out right before we play, but could it help? Will BP pull this team together for his last run in the tourney wearing orange?

Thoughts?

I honestly think it will, but Cameron Tatum is going to have to REALLY step up, bottomline, we have to have a third scorer. Cam is capable but I think he really has to have learned after his time on the bench. I expect to see a better performance from Tatum, especially since he will more than likely be the only starter returning next year.

Also, Brian Williams needs to be reinserted into the starting lineup, keeping Fields in the lineup is a joke. The Vols need their best lineup on the floor to start the game.

I would hope it does, but part of me believes these kids may just want this all to be over like most of us do.

I was thinking the same thing...this is a dream scenerio, we win it all and Bruce keeps his job,hammy gets the axe and then we hire some big-time AD...JUST DREAMING I AM

Actually I wonder how far he would have to go in the tournament before he could influence the decision.

Elite Eight?

Final Four?

NC game?

NC?

I realize this is totally theoretical, (and impossible) but just imagine the situation on Tuesday April 5th if UT won the NC.

What does Hammy & the Board of Trustees do then? How do you eloquently fire your coach?

Does it buy him till Summer and after the hearing?

is hopson going toplay overseas next year, because he sure won't be drafted in the first round.

So "most of us" want UT to just lose so we don't have to hear about this team any more, as opposed to winning and advancing through the tourney. If any kid on that team feels that way, which is highly doubtful, there's more issues than just the coach
