Interesting Words from Cincy Player on CBJ

Way to bypass all the good tweets and throw up a thread on the one negative tweet you could find. I bet you got all giddy when you found that little morsel from a hurting kid that lost his coach. Pathetic but typical

I am so ready for Vol Nation to find reasons to support Coach Butch and quit looking for reasons to question him. I'm all in folks and talking to my wife about our first season ticket purchase. Coach Butch will get this done and I am proud to be a Tenn-Uh-C Vol!

I'm not sure how to feel about those quotes. One, its freshman. Two, we don't really know who butch jones is. Those quotes do sound familiar though....kind of like how we were all feeling when Kiffin left us for "greener pastures." I can't say I really blame the kid.

It is one of those times a person uses the word "all" when "almost all" would be more truthful but not sound as good.

The chances of "all" those players taking it well is about the same as them "all" having the exact same personality and emotional make up.

So you're telling me there's a chance

First off I fully support Butch Jones and hope that he succeeds here and I think that he can. But while on Twitter I found two really interesting quotes from Cincy Freshman Wide Receiver Jeremy Graves.

Jeremy Graves ‏@JGraves94
Every time he said "buy in" he must've been meaning pay him more money! Smh

Jeremy Graves ‏@JGraves94
Already comparing his self to Saban and Les Miles! Hold your horses there

I found this interesting seeing that during CBJs press conference he said all of his players applauded when he told them he was going to UT. What do you guys think? Just a player upset or somebody who really doesn't like CBJ?

Who cares. If you ask 80 different players, your going to get 80 different answers. And many of times when a whole room had been applauding, I was not, and no one ever noticed.

As soon as he beats Oregon he will have folks jumping all over the bandwagon

Jones turned down 2.7 million bucks from Colorado. That's a million dollars a year more than he made at Cinci with his latest raise. Jones is about more than money. He is about being a great football coach, and he sees Tennessee as a truly great place to do that. I hope he's right.

College Football is a tough business, imagine telling your Wife, 16 yr Son, and 2 very young sons "we're moving ...again". I'm sure there are many with hurt feelings.
Telling your wife that you've found someone younger and hotter would be a more accurate description.

Here's an idea: Why don't you just tweet him, explain your a TN fan, and ask them exactly what they meant, rather than ask other posters who have no clue? WAIT, that makes too much sense, never mind.

This would've happen with whatever coach we got. Tirico would've been dogging Gruden.

Oh crap, an 18yr with a twitter account is pissed. FIRE BUTCH JONES!! I understand he's disappointed but I'm not sure it's worthy of a thread.

I agree with you that he wants to be at Tenn but he only turned that job down after Charlie Strong turned us down.
