Intriguing bowl matchups

Depends on if you take the “best teams” approach or the “most deserving” approach. I think there are a few teams better than Oklahoma

If they've watched UGA's offense over the back half of the season, then I don't think they could conclude that UGA is in the Top 4 of either metric.

I think they watched the A&M game and only 18 pts

8 team playoff

I'm given to understand at least part of the issue of an expansion can't happen for several more years due to tv contracts or somesuch.

This being what, the 3rd year in a row the Pac-12 has been on the outside looking in, I could see them supporting an expansion.

Virginia and Notre Dame need to switch places. That would not have messed up anything.

Florida likely to go to Orange Bowl to pummel Virginia. But there is a chance the Sugar takes them if UGA falls far after blowout loss to LSU. I'd much rather play Baylor in the Sugar than hapless UVA in Miami.

Other games or possible switches you find interesting?
The only intriguing matchups I noticed when clicking on your thread was the photo next to sig line, didn't read a bit after that. Need to change the photo if you want more responses...😂

Penn State vs Oregon would be a good Rose Bowl matchup;) Oregon trying to get revenge for 1994:cool:

1994 was sort of the turning point in Oregon football. Gang Green defense and all that stuff. We just didn't have the talent to beat Penn St that year they were the better team. We were very much a dark horse in that one. No real revenge needed. Also, looks like we got Wisc. So things are different.

Please play dead and let Franklin win. 🙏🙏🙏 Don't need Penn St calling Matt Rhule anytime soon.

Better yet, Wisconsin to the Rose and y'all stomp the dog shitte out of them. 👍👍👍

Well hopefully Wisconsin will say some stupid stuff like the Ute's did about how soft Oregon is. Spent the whole PAC-12 Championship game watching Utes picking themselves up off the turf wondering which way was home.

I'm glad Tennessee made a bowl but honestly the Indiana matchup is pretty meh. Indiana is 8-4, which is good for them, but they still aren't a very good team. I feel like we're going to romp and in the end it's not going to actually prove all that much.

Indiana isn't a team to take lightly
