Yes they are, if Pitt can consistently pass, they would beat Iowa soundly.

Iowa just won't give it a rest. They're using 3 and 4 downs this drive to get all the way down the field. 5 yards, 3 yards, 2 yards, yards, 8 yards, 1 yard, 3 yards etc.

Iowa has been like that as long as I remember. Pitt has to make a stop or keep on scoring.

Iowa is out of time outs with 7 to go. That's usually a bad sign for a team.

That was a great catch on 3rd down. Pitt... wow.

I've seen like 4 amazing catches this game.

Yeeah. If they can get a stop and milk the clock they're okay. If Pitt scores...:dunno:

All Pitt needs to do is Pound with James Connor and complete a crazy pass every once in awhile.

At least if Pitt turns it over on downs or something they have 3 timeouts to possibly get it back. Hopefully it doesn't come to that though. 3rd and 10...

That was good coverage both times but if the refs wanted, they could have called a PI on either. The first one he was on the guys back before the ball got there and the other time he had his arms wrapped around the guys waist before it got there. I'm fine with no PI but I'm surprised they let it go two plays in a row. Dude lookin like a shutdown corner. And Pitt's receivers have made crazy catches all day.

I think Pitt is now done.

OOooooh.

According to ESPN's notes:

Pittsburgh's James Conner has 544 rushing yards through three games. He's looking to become the first player to top 700 yards in his team's first four games since Donald Brown in 2008.

He got 155 yards on 29 rushes. So, if the numbers are right, he came up just a yard short.

(His last run was one for no gain at the Iowa 32)

Weisman is a very good back. He will be a mid rounder in this years draft.

Yeah, I'd definitely take him as a powerback. Runs hard and is huge.

I miss players who could run through defenders like Mike Alstott and Jeremy Shockey.

Iowa does it again. Struggle all game and squeak out a bad looking win. But hey, a win is a win. I'd take it any way I could get it. That was not pretty though. Iowa is now 3-1. At least if Ferentz gets to 4 wins, he'll be paid 1 million dollar a win :). Nah, Iowa should finish 6-6 probably. I don't know, their schedule is pretty easy. They could win 8 or 9 just because of how easy their division is.
