Tennessee didn't go to a bowl...again...nobody cares outside of Tennessee...that is how far the "precious" Vols has fallen...LONG way to go.

Now I see why your name is grimvol. You got a grim out look. Vandy wins on a questionable call this year and beats us last year and they are the best team in Tennessee? What a joke.

I want him to stay so after we beat him this year and the next 5 years, Vandy will not be able to say we couldn't beat him.

Depends on how/when/why he leaves. If it's a case of next year or the year after he quits or gets fired because the team tanks, yeah, back to same old Vandy.

If it's because he has another 9-4 season, or heaven forbid a 10-3 even and gets a better job offer elsewhere, depending on how much notice he gives the university, unlike Boise State, Vandy has much deeper pockets to go out and try to attract someone.

Thanks to Franklin and to a lesser extent Bobby Johnson with the 2008 team, they've shown that while Candyland isn't a likely powerhouse championship school, it doesn't necessarily have to be a dead end assignment for newb coaches or coaches that are winding down their career.
