Is 7-5 season with a bowl looking actually possible - or do we choke?

All those 2-10, 3-9, 4-8, 5-7, posts should be burned. This team should be 5-2 or 6-1, I will take 4-3 though because they earned. Think we beat Missouri because we are the only team that match up in the trenches with them plus our conditioning and physical play. Should be interesting. Another Bye week between Auburn and Vanderbilt/Kentucky.

You really think 7-5 is going to get this team into the Cotton bowl?

And unless the vols lose to UK and Vandy, no loss to any of the other remaining teams would be considered a "choke"

Huh? How's that? What more do they need to do for you to be "sold" on them?

If TN beats Mizzou, in Columbia, that will be a HUGE win for the Vols.

6-6 gets Liberty Bowl for Tennessee and 7-5 gets the Music City Bowl. If Tennessee does the unbelievable and goes 8-4 I think They play Virginia Tech in the Peach Bowl.

It hinges on Mizzou. Thought their win over UGA was a fluke, now beating UF, not sure what to think. In pre-season I thought Auburn was the wildcard, now it looks like they're for real. If we beat Mizzou, we'll get to 7 wins beating Vandy and UK, maybe 8 with a home game vs Auburn.

Yeah I think Music City is most likely - but if we beat Missouri and go 8-4 we are looking at a serious money bowl. Frankly a choke would only be if we lost 4 out of 6 IMO - and with the team I have seen in the last 2 weeks who are getting better every day... Choking is just not..going...to...happen.

So there is no faith in Tennessee beating Alabama? Even after Kiffin almost beat them in 09 with Crompton.

Anything can happen, especially if Bama takes us lightly - though thats unlikely after these last 2 games. But you have to figure while we have a shot Bama has an awesome and deep talent roster - though I am thinking we are at least on par with coaching :)

A win against Alabama isn't likely , but anything is possible . That's the way I look at it . There are upsets every week

It will be tough .. there are no guaranteed wins. Mizzou is good. I am guessing they will play bama in the seccg. Best chances to win, besides KY, would be auburn and vandy. Would love to win both of those games but I don't see that happening. I think 6-6 is a real possibility though.

I'd be satisfied with 6-6.
7-5 would be like a super bowl after the mess we've been accustomed to.
