I also remember what Dooley almost pulled off last year in Athens against probably the best(atleast most talented) team in CFB. A UGA team that had 9 future NFL players on it makes it offense score 51 points to beat UT.

In regards to being overlooked my comment is based on not one network, service, or site is giving UT a chance in any of their big games. That is what I call being overlooked. Everyone is assuming the east only has 3 teams in it right now. And in regards to having a better idea we will know more long before UT plays UA, because they play Oregon, UF, UGA, and USC.

You made my point with your second paragraph.

There is a reason nobody is picking UT in the East. They may surprise somebody this year, something always happens every year. But I am sure even the biggest UT homer thinks that this year is not the year to contend for the East.
