No, suspending before an NCAA investigation would be an admission guilt, and that would be foolish on Bama's part. However, this being a recurring issue could give the NCAA an opportunity to dig around a little further, and no school ever wants that.
They dug the first time and didn't find anything.
I also think we've entered a new era of very little NCAA enforcement when it comes to players profiting from their likenesses and signatures. At least until the O'Bannon stuff is completely put to bed.
