Is Bray not throwing at the combine?

Didn't his 2012 QB coach, and his 2010, 2011, and 2012 Offensive Co-ordinator work with Drew Brees and Kyle Orton? Maybe coaching wasn't the problem.

Did any of those guys coach defense?

If we had a decent defense, Bray would be remembered a lot differently.

I wish Tyler Bray the best and loved having him as a VOL. Just wished we would have had better coaches while he was here. jmo
Yeah. I think he is a much better player than many give him credit for. If this defense had just been decent, the offense would have gotten more possessions per game = more chances to put points on the board and eat time off the clock.

Even with the worst defense in UT history, we still managed to be the 2nd most prolific offense in the conference, and that is no small feat. Tyler Bray was a major part of that. We also have to keep in mind that these kids had little to hope for, playing for Dooley.

Tyler Bray put on a clinic against NC State, and played well enough to beat UF, UGA, MSU, USCjr and Mizzou...that's five games that should have been W's...meaning a 10 win season!!!....if the defense simply does it's part. He had some low spots, but even Brady has games where he doesn't look as stellar as he usually does.

I personally think Bray is a better NFL prospect than Jake Locker, and would like to see the Titans take him in the 3rd or 4th Rd. Alex Smith is probably going to get released from the 49ers, so Bray might make a great pick for them....being coached under Harbaugh, and close to home for him. I can imagine how dangerous they could be if they draft Justin Hunter in the 2nd Rd, and take Bray in the 3-4th Rd.

Really? ...........we gave up so many big plays that Bray was back on the field before he could even sit down

I personally see Bray in Dallas. No, not because of Dooley. Because Bray is the prototypical QB that could be a pro bowler after he learns the game and gets some experience. Bray vs. Romo for the QB job.
