Is Derek Dooley going to Florida?

Oregon's WR corp looks completely non-existent in tonight's championship game.

I think they're down there top 3 WR, but I agree. They have the dropsies, Florida had the dropsies all year. Match made in heaven

I understand but they've still got plenty of playmakers at that position. You know their motto "Next guy up." They knew they were going to be without Allen and Carrington. Their WR's have shown me nothing so far tonight to believe their WR coach is anything special.

Lubick was one of three finalists for the American Football Coaches Association's Assistant Coach of the Year award for 2012. A big reason is the production his receivers turned in for Duke, which reached a bowl game for the first time since 1994.[6] He was also named the wide receivers coach of the year in 2012 by footballscoop.com.[2]
Duke was the only FBS team in the country in 2012 with three receivers to catch at least 60 passes, led by Conner Vernon’s program-record 85 receptions. Vernon and Jamison Crowder also set an ACC record for most catches by a receiving tandem, combining for 157 receptions on the year. The Blue Devils were the 31st-ranked passing team in the FBS in 2012.[6]

A good SEC program has OC's and DC's leaving to become head coaches of other universities. At UT we have head coaches (Kiffin, Dooley) leaving to become coordinators or position coaches at other universities.

Just shows how upside down we've been.

Well, Kiffin did initially leave to be HC so...

One night with drops by the #3 and #4 WRs in the starting lineup wipes all that out.

What are you talking about? Dooley was fired and Kiffin left to become the head coach at USC.

Also, we did have an OC leave to become a head coach at another university (David Cutcliffe Duke in '08).

And Dooley actually went to become a position coach in the NFL--not another university.

Matt Lubick is Jim McElwain's best hire yet. Matt is not only a great coach but one of the elite recruiters in the entire nation. #Gators

Jim McElwain likely to name current Oregon WR Coach Matt Lubick to same position at Florida. Expect announcement to come this week sometime

Looks like Oregon's WR Coach is going to be Florida's new WR coach.

Maybe UF receivers can start dropping easy third down passes? (I know, it was only one game and they were suing backups, but that was atrocious!)

Oregon's WR play last night was pathetic. And yeah, people will use the "but they were playing backups" excuse but hey, Ohio St was playing a backup at QB and he didn't seem to have any problems.
