Is Derek Reese a wing or Post player?

Just wondering. You know after next season (2013) we lose every 4 or 5 except Yemi (if Stokes goes Pro). We really need to sign a post player like Charles Mitchell in the spring to help with next year of course but the year after too.

Theres a sticky about the recruiting info that I look at....We are favorites with a lot on instate talent for that class. Matter of fact, the coaches were in memphis right after the uconn game.

Bleeding and others I just believe (and I may be wrong) that if we could ink Mitchell in the spring or another forward we could compete for a National Title next season!! Now I am a true opptimist and that may be a bold statement.

I would trade Mitchell for McRae ccm getting McRae to play. IMO we will be best next year if McRae break out.

Stokes can't go pro. Not old enough.

Edit: Just saw 2013 in your post. Nevermind.

Yep there is a smorgasborg of talent in Memphis with the likes of JWIII, Nick King, Leron Black just to name a few. It's crucial that CCM get's some recruits from there. Pearl placed effort there, but was never successful.

Reese has signed already, so there won't be any of that. Reese supposedly is a very good outside shooter and I am willing to bet CCM likes that attribute about him and was the reason for the offer.

Also, he is not 6-8 or 6-9. That is, unless he has grown recently. He is listed at 6-7, which usually translates to 6-6 or 6-7 with shoes on.
