Is Dobbs the starter next week?

Stats say Dobbs was 11-20. Yardage was low but then again a lot of the routes were short. Dobbs had two turn overs, so did the Vandy QBs. The issue was a coaching staff that took his confidence away by taking passing out of our game play. You can't quit on the young man because he struggles. He did have the game winning TD called back because of a block in the back.

Better question, is whoever does start next week allowed to throw the ball more than 5 yards?

Also my observation in the Vandy game. Just having one downfield receiver (North) is really bad. The new WR have much to look forward to. Any QB would look like a clown in that throttled back offense. It's not Dobb's.

If we are having an open competition at QB next year I would really like to see Peterman get another shot at UK. If nothing else, rotate Dobbs & Peterman like Vandy did with Robinette.

The WR did not help him either. Smith dropped one that hit him in the hands and Pig has to make that catch on the sideline.

That pass that Smith missed , he should have caught. Although it was under thrown about 10 yards and he and the D back for Vandy had to stop and wait for the dying Quail to come down, the Vandy player actually should have intercepted went through his arms and grazed one may have contributed to the J Smith drop. The pass looked high schoolish.

Too be so smart, Dobbs makes really stupid decisions.. I would rather have an athlete than a book worm playing football... I would rather have a book worm doing my open heart surgery

Well no ****. He's a true freshman that has played 4 games.

Nate Peterman is worse than Dobbs....we have already seen him against a putrid UF team....no thanks!!!! I want Ferguson.......you might say its not worth burning the redshirt....but I disagree....we need any kind of positive momentumn and hope going into next season and .if Ferguson is actually good like Bray was as a true freshman then we can all at least have hope as Butch is bringing in great players go help.....but without a good QB, you can bring in all the great players you want and it won't really matter...look at UF under Muschamp for example....we need to solve this qb thing now not later...our players need to have something to believe in badly right now....Dobbs is definitely not .our future qb.
