getting your ass kicked royally. A little bit of that, ok--IF you actually made a good play. But he did it all night after SC had completed another 10/12/15 yard pass on him. That is not cool. I'm very surprised he didn't draw a flag for taunting or unsportsmanlike conduct.

Watched him all night getting burnt talking to carolina sideline just to get burnt again and go back talking more crap. Half jog all night. Not getting in on tackles it was flat out embarrassing. I was embarrassed for him. At one point I thought they gotta get him out of there. He was jawing Beamer and the whole sideline while down almost 5 scores.

I'm at a loss as to why the coaches didn't park his butt on the bench..

Probably because WoodsmanVol knew we are already shorthanded in the secondary, and nothing much if anything was behind the guy. Coaches being ineligible to play and all.

That ain’t moxie, that’s just plain stupid. Just shut up and try your best and folks can at least respect that. But don’t talk junk if you ain’t backing it up. That’s just embarrassing.

You’ll put more on that list, trust me. It’s really helpful not to have to read the mess that some of these people come up with. Where they get some of their ideas is a complete mystery.

Yeah I was embarrassed for him and I'm 500 miles away watching it in my living room. I honestly think he was having a melt down and coaching staff failed to get him off field late in the game.

Beasley was a beast last night. Right place right time most of the night, form tackling and flying to the ball. He was the lone bright spot.

When he sacked Rattler, as he got up, Rattler tapped him on the helmet. Maybe for not trying to break him.

There's an old football maxim that you play the way you practiced. My WAG is practice was sorry last week especially on the defensive side of the ball. There's lot's of possible reasons short of "locker room" problems, like late season mental fatigue, not taking South Carolina seriously enough, just being 19-20 years old and getting tired of the grind. This defense is not talented or deep enough to "mail it in". Its just way too late if you finally decide you want to bring it Saturday night at half-time. If you're not locked in by Monday - Tuesday at the latest you will get your butt handed to you come Saturday in the SEC. Everyone has athletes that have undergone years of intense physical training and coaching, the difference in ability is consequential but marginal. If you ever participated in an Oklahoma drill even at the HS level you know it ain't always the best athlete that wins. Football is a street fight once you lose the edge its hard to get it back.

This is 100% correct, very well put! He was obviously frustrated they were getting spanked by a sub par SC team. This is the worst UT loss I can remember in my 42 years on earth, cost us a playoff birth and lost our potential Heisman qb for the last 2 games. I am terribly afraid they will fall apart and lose to Vandy and end up in the Music City bowl. This was one of the worst choke jobs in BCS history, CJH deserves a big part of the blame and both of the Banks need to go. We aren't even in the top 10 in recruiting right now and this loss def will not help that. I love UT football and always will but damn they break my heart way too consistently, I have a serious trauma bond going on lol!
