Trent Richardson will be the best back in the country this year. The young man is the strongest guy on the Alabama team. If you try to tackle him high, hes going to break your back

Don't take me wrong I think he's good but a heisman candidate no!!!!
I think he and Lattimore will be the top running backs in the SEC and should have a shot at the Heisman. The thing about Richardson is he is on a better tea with a better OL. Dyer at Auburn will be up there but I hope Poole will have a great season and win the rushing title.

It comes down to Alabama season on if he is heisman material! In the past few year it seems no matter how good a player is if there team goes to the national championship and someone on that team is in the running they will get the trophy! The heisman isn't about the best player! Its about the best player on the best team!

For example if laundry jones leads Oklahoma to the national championship and Richardson rushes for 2000 yrds but they lose a couple games and can't make the game, jones would have the edge over Richardson. Even though rushing for 2000 yrds on this conference is outstanding!

There are too many idiots in this thread. Whether he’ll win the Heisman or not is yet to be seen, but he is a legitimate candidate.... not just because he’s on Bama, but because he’s a beast. If you truly cannot see that, you don’t know s***.
