Is it more important to win now or develop for the future

Is it more important to win now at all costs or develop players for the SEC schedule and beyond?

Win now and let the younger players see what it takes to be a top program. Especially since we have 2 players that may be in the top 5 for the draft next spring. It basically will be a new team next year anyway.

If we can build by adding solid portal players with several years of eligibility left to give time for players to learn to play together, we can be all right. Hollingshed is a great example.

Already we see Hunter from Texas and Verhulst from Louisville in the portal. Both were highly-rated recruits that we wanted, and both have several years of eligibilty left.

Getting rising seniors through the portal is sort of a reverse one-and-done that only provides temporary help.

Good point about needing time to learn how to play together but I gotta admit, I would still take Rickea in a heartbeat.
