Stokes= one foot out the door

Oku= kid is confusing, but how many times has he confused us this year? He's like a good dog, he always comes home. Come on home Oku. Wanna see you in orange bud.

Oku seems like he's going to be this years Gerald Jones on NSD. Must be an Oklahoma thing

I bet we get Stokes and Oku. Stokes looked around but he loves the Vols. Oku never seriously considered anyone else. The analogy to Gerald Jones is dead on.

I think we loose Oku and Stokes. As a matter of fact I don't think that, even as good as these guys are at recruiting, we have any positive surprises on signing day.

I think you are wrong in a big way on the second statement... Oku and Stokes aside I think we have a huge day coming ...... time will tell.

I think we lose Stokes and Oku too. Stokes was gone when CLK told Boyd to go elsewhere. Oku is being pulled in the wrong direction by former VOL RB coaches.

yep,and probably brown as well.

t.t. can recruit, wish we could of found a place for the ole chest bumper.

I personally have been fascinated yet utterly confused by this year's recruiting. I really dont have any predictions even though I could recite from heart every player we are considering. If I had to venture a guess Id say Stokes is gone and Oku stays IF we don't get Hardy or Lacy. If we get one of those two, Oku may go to Auburn. I think our boys on the hill have a big board and they at least think they are sure who we have coming in. Thats why Thigpen got the boot. If they lay off Oku as it seems they have a bit in the last week they must think we have someone else close to coming in. Unfortunately we are getting killed on OL recruits and that is what will haunt this team moving forward.

I watched an interview with Stokes' dad and he was all orange and white. So I'm hopin his dad will talk some sense into him so he will stay.

CLK and the other coaches are probably looking at the bigger picture and are keeping the 2010 class in mind for their recruiting decisions with the '09 class. May not make sense now and may be frustrating, but it's way too early to be upset.

The fact that we just ousted a former OL as head coach might be hurting our OL recruiting this year. Those players were probably closer to Fulmer than most recruits.

C&P from a Auburn friend of mine off his board.

Auburn is trying to Lure David Oku from Tennessee
But there is news, and we'll start off with highly sought running back David Oku. He said he is considering Auburn and that his commitment to Tennessee is not as solid as before
