Being an under dog to fierce Vandy team, a team that pretty had you your team beat, is about the way it should be. They are playing great football and we are terrible. Losing to Kentucky twice in the last 5 years now thats embarrassing. The fact is though, if you ask any Tennessee fan, they will tell you that losing to georgia and South Carolina is, well, embarrassing. So no, I don't consider that a low blow. Nice middle school girl comeback.

Look, no need to get all butt hurt over this. All somebody did was start a thread on Tennessee site asking if georgia was the worst SEC east rep and you all got your feelings hurt. Look georgia won the east this year for the first time in six years. You all should be happy about that, not on a Tennessee site. So put those black Green Bay G's back on your vehicles. Its all good.

I don't think you really understand it. UT is an underdog to Vandy, IN NEYLAND. I was the one on here getting beat up for saying how impressive Vandy looked after they played us.

Butthurt? Nah, that's not me. I will (hopefully) be at the Dome cheering for our boys.

You guys win, we are the worst team to ever represent the East. But, dang, what does that say about the rest of the East?

None of us are on a UGA site bragging about our team. We know we suck this year. You, on the other hand, can't accept that your team isn't very good either. It's easy to sit back and pretend you're great when your best win is probably a pathetic Auburn team. Not playing Arkansas, LSU, or Alabama kind of voids any argument you all have as pretending you're really good.

Trust me man, I get it. I know how our schedule played out and I know we got extremely lucky this year.

It is what it is. We beat the teams we were supposed to beat and now we have a great shot to win the East. I'll take it, I will not make excuses for our team.

That's reasonable. I'd take it too; it's not like you all are responsible for your SEC schedule. You just got lucky this year, and it looks like you're going to take advantage of it. I have no problem with you here until you start attacking our program.

How am I not getting it? I am just disagreeing with you. Being an underdog to Vanderbilt in Neyland does suck but losing to either Georgia, South Carolina, or Vandy in any given year is embarrassing on an all time winning tradition level. IMO losing to Georgia, or even worse, getting out coached by Georgia is despicable.

I would hope you be at the dome I know I will anytime the Big Orange plays in the dome.( Although there is a certain price thats just too much for me, I'm sure your the same way).

The east is terrible this year, probably the worst it has ever been. I said before the season started that Georgia should win the east due their schedule and returning staff and starters. As far as winning in this thread I think if you'll look back over most of the comments you'll realize that most of the posters are saying last year's USC or 2007 Vols, unless UGA goes on a 2 game losing streak after the GT game,I have to agree with them.

I don't get you man. You'll make a good, educated post about something then turn right around and blindly defend one of your fellow dog fans whose on here basically trolling. Again its all good, just don't get mad over it!:good!:

Our D is young and has obviously gotten better. Its funny you bring that game up cause that same game I remember Murray throwing for 250 and our o-line abusing your AMAZING d-line to the tune of 180+ yards. What happened that day to your amazing defense?

yeh, your O line ABUSED the SC D line?? I recall Ingram scoring twice. BTW, Ingram is a lineman.

Our defense accounted for three scores, if I recall correctly. Your offense moved the ball, but our defense more than made up for it. your defense is good, but it isn't better than our defense. Sorry.

You must have not seen the game. You must have missed the post game comments by your own Head Coach. UGA outplayed the Chickens for the majority of the game. We had so many boneheaded mistakes that cost us the game. All the credit to the Chickens for taking advantage of their opportunities.

I think the Chickens are very good at D but I just don't see why you are so sure that they are better than our D.

I listened to the post-game. Georgia beat us in everything but the score, and we were fortunate to win. I have no problem saying that.

What I have a problem with are people like busscrack touting your defense like it is the greatest in the land. You have a good defense, no doubt. I'm not saying our defense blows your defense out of the water. We have our share of problems. I'm just saying we have the better of the two defenses.

Congrats on winning the East, by the way.

Having seen them both live a couple of times, SC defense looked more imposing to me than UGA. I'd say UGA owes their defensive improvement, like a lot of other things, to their schedule. I don't think they've seen anything resembling a dynamic offense since South Carolina at full strength in week 2.

I can't believe it. I actually agree with the Georgia guy. You take wins where you can get them, and don't apologize for it. You'd think that if we learned nothing else over the past couple of years, it would have been this.
