Is Jordan McRae player of the year in the SEC?

Who else would be in contention?

I would think he should be in the conversation. If I were on the comittee, he would get my vote.

I would think Phil Pressey, Elston Turner, Marshall Henderson, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope are the competition. Sadly, if Nerlens Noel had stayed healthy, they would have given it to him.

This is shaping up to be a "Chandler Parsons" type of year for POY. No one really outpacing the other contenders.

Jordy would have to be in the running, as would maybe Stokes. But I don't think either of them should/would get it. If Georgia was better, you might see KCP get it. No to the wanna be Marshall Mathers. Possibly Turner at TAM. I don't see anyone at Florida distinguishing themselves, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it go to a Gator. Bowers at MIZZ would be a strong candidate, but his chances may be hindered by missing time w/ injury. It's a toss up.

He's definitely in contention...others would likely be Henderson, turned, young, Powell, holloway, pope and releford.

McRae is 6th in PPG in conference for the year, but in only conference games he's 3rd.

Elston Turner imo. I haven't seen anybody that could duplicate what he does so far this season.

The TV announcers also speak highly of Skylar McRae, Jarnell McBee, Jordan Stokes, Ted Golden, and Jay Richardson.

How the teams finish down the stretch might make an impact. Ole Miss and A&M flaming out might sway a few voters, if McRae continues to play big and lead us to the tourney.

What about shots per game? Henderson has to be way up there for that. No one else shoots as much as him.

This right here shows that Henderson's punk ass is not really that good. Mcrae would avg 20+ too if he shot as much as that queer.

Sorry I just really hate that guy.

I don't think he'll get player of the year. Not quite enough media hype around him. I think he can definitely get 1st Team All SEC

I would choose turner but Jordan would be runner up in my book. If he played all year like he had the past few games he would win easily.
