Tell me which team/roster is better then Memphis? I guarantee you can't find a roster even close actually!

Actually louisvilles will be right up there.

And once again, pasty is your coach, the king of underachieving.

He had top 10 talent last year, and what'd he accomplish? Not SH!t

I currently attend U of L and yes, I think they are probably the best team in the country

What the hell is this suppopse to mean?

Look it means that thus far in his young coaching career Pastner has done less with more than any head coach in the country. Yes he will have the most talented roster next season in the Big East and will finish in the lower half around 5th or 6th in the Big East next season. Josh Pastner scares no one with his ability to out coach anyone in a big game.

This is form a 3 year sample size from a depleted roster and a 34 year old head coach?

Say what you want, but there isn't a single Memphis fan wanting Pastner out. He is 34 years old and pulling in 5*s on the reg, give him time...I know we will!

Making the NIT is not an option and I will bet anything that we don't. Silly to even question to be honest.

Pastner definitely has to win a NCAA game or boosters will be head hunting though.

Louisville Marquette and cincy aren't what they were when in the c-USA let's be honest. Add in UCONN, providence, st johns etc etc and you're talking about 10 teams in the BE atleast that are better than the best c-USA team(besides Memphis)

Agree competition will be way better, but I believe Memphis has wanted this in the first place. Remember when Cal was there the Big East excluded Memphis when the other teams made it in. Pastners team will have to bring their "A" game every time.

He coached the pants off Cuonzo in Maui. The one in Memphis was just a beatdown.

I can't wait to see the Jonestown style reaction with all these tiger high fans when they realize what a bad idea joining the Big East with Josh Pastner as their coach is.

orrrr it will be funny when Josh Pastner wins the Atlantis tourney with 5 top 25 teams, wins CUSA a final time, gets to the FF in Atlanta, and brings home a national championship to the state of TN.

your pick!

And then you wake up and realize Cal isn't walking back through those doors.
