Is Rico Mcoy the next great LB at Tennessee

The defense will be better than "OK", in my opinion. I think there is a ton of talent on the defensive side of the ball. Like you said the season will depend on the offense.

I think our starting DTs may very well be the best in the SEC. McBride is a VERY good player and wil show that this year. Depth is a concern at DT, IMO. Doesn't mean depth will be poor, just that it is a question mark right now. I think our DEs have a lot of talent. As a group, I think they are more talented than the what we lost in Hall and Haralson. I think Ayers can be a special player. I think X Mitchell is a very good player and was playing very good before his injury, and I think Reynolds will have a breakout year. I think our young LBs are as talented as any group Chavis has ever had at Tennessee and I think our secondary will be one of the best in the SEC this year. Chavis feels the same way. Mayo, McCoy, Mathis, and Myers-White are gonna make one hell of a LB group in the near future. Could see some early growing pains at LB with the youth and inexperience, but the talent is there and very high.

There are some potential star players on the defense like you mentioned; McCoy, Mathis, McBride. Also in the secondary, J. Wade and D Morley are 2 potential stars as well. I'm expecting D. Morley to win a startng job.

I think both Chavis and Brooks are excellent coaches, I dont think there will be a lot of problem with the DL or LB'S and what problem there are will be corrected.
