With the recent buzz of ggod news, former players and coaches, and early commits is it safe to say Dooley may have been the Lamb at the Alter of the Football Gods? Now if Majors and Fulmer would just hug it out the Vols would be sure to win the National Title in 14

Things seem to be headed in the right direction. I doubt it could be as bad as the last two years, so I believe we have turned the corner and are headed back to the top. I the defense has to step up, however that may be a bit difficult to beat Bama, with out some unexpected help from some of the defensive players. We still need speed and size on defense, I expect the 2014 class will help a lot.

There was never a curse

UT brought this on themselves with poor management within the university

Poor leadership is most often the "curse" which brings an organization to its knees. Butch has come in and is getting the football program back on its feet. Happy days are on the way.

I deserve some credit. I sacrificed my kitten to the Vol Gods.

THIS!

Remember, the fans thought Dooley was great as well. Just go back in time on this board.

Dooley gave some reason for optimism at times early in his time at UT, but he NEVER had anything going like Butch is doing now. This is like Kiffin and Orgeron recruiting on steroids (without cheating).
