Is the OU game the most difficult game on our schedule?

We came close to beating UGA, true, but at the same time--they didn't have Gurley, Marshall tore his ACL, and 2 other players tore ACLs in that game alone. Also, they didn't have Sony Michel and Nick Chubb, who are basically version 2.0 of Gurley and Marshall. They alone make up for the transition from Murray to Mason at the QB position IMO. So to me, they are still a wrecking ball and will do everything they can to make a statement since this is the first year for the playoff selection committee to do it's thing and see how well it works.

I still do not (and will not) underestimate Bama or OU--AT ALL. We have a brutal schedule, and I still say we go 6-6, but we will have to remain healthy the rest of the year to do that IMO.

It is AMAZING how many people have forgotten (or just want to ignore) this huge fact.

Yeah but UT can match those guys with Hurd and Scott...remember "The Hurd is the Word"... and next year we add Kamara...oh, my...and Paulk...we are set at RB for the next three years.

If you think UGA is a cake walk because we have Hurd and will have Scott, you're going to be mistaken.

Lost me at Ole Miss ahead of Alabama

LOL .. agree, then lost me again at Arky St over Kentucky. UK has a baller at QB and some backs that are really good also. You may be the only team to have to face two Stoops in one year.

Most have actually. Add to that Malcolm Mitchell wasn't in the lineup and two guys on defense missing. I joke with UF fans that between the two teams we could have made an all-star team out of the injured players last year.

:no1: Tennessee plays an SEC schedule .

2012 called...it wants it's sign back.

Anyone who has been watching can see that the PAC 12 is light years better than any other conference this year, and either Oklahoma or Baylor would be a legit shot to win the SEC this year.

But don't let that dissuade you from cheering for teams who should be your mortal enemies.

So two games into the season you came up with this? Let anyone of those schools, PAC12, Oklahoma or Baylor have to run the schedule week after week that an SEC school does and talk to me then. Otherwise, maybe one of those conferences can try one year to have a better bowl record than the SEC. JUST ONCE is all I ask. And I am even including crazy stuff like the PAC12 teams that end up in the New Mexico Bowl or the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl.

My female OU graduate inside source says OU is concerned with tempo of the game. It appears their conditioning was rather apparently lacking during the 2nd halfs of both of their first two games, against cupcakes she added..

Maybe this is where the uptempo offense can really do some damage?!

Wait the Pac 12 is lightyears .. ahem, LIGHTYEARS ahead of the other conferences? I don't think so.

UCLA barely beat Virginia and Memphis

Arizona almost lost to UTSA

Oregon was struggling with a Big Ten team until the 4th quarter

Stanford and USCw looked very sloppy (Stanford couldn't beat a pathetic USCw defense) and USC has so many injuries you can't count them and was lucky to survive Stanford.

Lightyears? I think not. Don't get me started on the rest of them. ITs a good conference, but its not number one. Two, maybe? One (lightyears?)

Heh, please.

If we can stay on the field it might come into play. I'm worried our offense is going to go 3 and out too much and put the defense in a bind. Our skill players can give them some issues if our oline can hold up. Over the course of the game the better, deeper team generally wins though. Just not sure we're there yet.

I think it is way to early to tell who is our toughest game. Of course there are a few masterminds on here that know everything and a few that probably think we shouldn't play this week. Fight hard all day long VOLS!!!! GO BIG ORANGE!!!!!! GO BIG ORANGE!!!!!!!

Overall, I think Oklahoma is the best team on our schedule. Actually, to me the two best teams in the nation are them and Oregon.

If they can sustain drives I think the "up tempo" offense might actually come into play against OU. I have heard the fears about this from OU alum.
