Is the team just toying with us at this point?

Talk about twisting stats. According to this, he and Uros are the top rebounders on the team. Guess that's why they average 2 minutes a game combined. The eye test tells you he gets outrebounded often. He is strong, his best attribute, but seems he doesn't have great lift and struggles to defend taller post players.

EJ averages 10 minutes a game himself. He has had struggles but he is a good rebounder

Your dumb comment is that EJ “(He) rarely rebounds well either.” There’s nothing twisted about the stats. His rebounding frequency leads the team.

Your follow up comment that Uros and EJ “average 2 minutes a game combined” is a lie as well. 9.9 plus 3.3 equals 13.2 which is considerably more than 2.

Programs in the best spot it has been since the departure of Pearl and that’s due to Barnes and his staff.

That being said, he does seem to have his limitations as a coach. However, as a fan I can put up with those as long as we can stay in the hunt and mix each year.

The longer term issue for us is going to be the hire once Barnes decides to hang it up. Historically we’ve handled such situations poorly.

I agree Barnes has limitations and is probably a bit past his prime. But in the scheme of UT basketball "all" he has to do is win one S16 round game and he's met the ceiling of this program in the NCAAT.

Bailey has regressed, Anosike has not been near what we hoped, Fulky has regressed, and Vescovi has been a disappointment in some ways. It’s been a weird year, yet hope is out there.
