Maybe if the U wins a couple of games then they can have 50,000 fans come see them play instead of the 27,000 that came to the USF game! :) Heck, Vols and Bama have that many just for their spring games. :)

well the usf game was some type of protest by alot of fans...money talks

miami averages 45,000to 50,000 at the least if they win..check the attendace at the OB from 2000 to 2006

No sir. Honestly I left the board for awhile because posting anything turned into being told how stupid I was, or seeing that happen to others... So I don't intend to attack anyone that way at all.

Love this board though. On and off Tennessee topics.

I think one thing people failed to point out is Miami is in the ACC, which is the MAIN reason why they have been struggling and losing more games recently, same thing for FSU. Neither of those teams can just coast to conference championships and only have 1 or 2 hard games a year anymore, like Miami had when they were in the Big East (Virginia Tech - who they always dominated, and Syracuse - the old Syracuse). As Tennessee fans we can make fun of the ACC all we want but fact of the matter is we have gotten our butts whooped THE PAST 3 TIMES WE HAVE PLAYED AN ACC TEAM (Maryland 30-3, Clemson 27-14, Virginia Tech last year). Hopefully, that changes in a couple week.

I think Mike Leach would be an excellent hire for Miami and his offense with be great for the type of speed and players Miami offenses have put on the field in the past.

The Miami job has always struck me as a job where a colorful personality or a young coach should be.
