The Vols should win this one, but I am not taking this game lightly.

According to N. Rutherford, the Vols have not beaten UGA on the road in several years.

That adds a little pressure to the Vols, IMO.

Also, the question is will the Vols have a hangover from the huge win over Auburn Saturday.

I have pretty good confidence in this Vols team, but I can't say I am not thinking about this game like its a trap.

Go Vols!

Yes—this would be a game you would typically take GA and the points. We’ll see how focused they are coming to the end of the season grind. But I hope we embarrass GA—make them fire Crean.

Considering half of our team hasn’t ever played a game at UGA (more specifically Ziegler, KC, HH, and Aidoo), I don’t think the past will be weighing on them. This would typically be considered a trap game but UGA has been struggling vs every team and now they get to face the conference’s best defensive team. Also, UGA has zero home court advantage. Similar to Mizzou especially for a midweek game. We need to start fast and build a big lead so we can rest some of our players later in the game. Especially for some of those that are still banged up.

When I watch GA I struggle to see how their record is THAT bad. They run good stuff on offense and have some skilled athletes that can score. I think it’s their defense that really kills them. They may score 70 but they will give up 80. I suspect that our defense can keep their offense down enough that we create some separation. But i wouldn’t be surprised if GA comes out early making shots and it’s close at half.

UGA isn’t a team that’s bad all around. They shoot well, surprisingly so for their record.

But they turn it over, and their defense is severely lacking.

We should win but it still isn’t one we can overlook

Let Aidoo and Hatfield hold down the post play and keep Uros on the bench and they will be fine . Nothing good happens when Uros comes in , he is the only 7 footer I know that looks like he plays with cinder blocks tied to his ankles .

I'd have lost a lot of money if you asked me to bet on the past time we won in Athens. Geeeezzzz

During their 9 game streak they have lost at home to Ark by 26

At home to SC by 12

At home to Mississippi by 17

At home to Florida by 12

Could Tennessee lose…….almost anything is “possible”…….however in no way should this be a “trap” game. Georgia sucks plain and simple.

We need Uros. I think the staff has found how to utilize him a little better. He gives us a rebounding and big body presence that is beneficial sometimes. He just can’t be out on the floor for a long time. He had 6 points and 7 rebounds vs Auburn on 50% shooting. That’s all we need out of him. Our posts operate as a committee and if they all chip in a little, it helps our guards. You can’t just write him off and keep him on the bench.

I wonder why Barnes has him jumping center at the start of each game then. With BHH in the lineup.

Making a basket isn’t the only thing that players do. Do you ever notice how well he handles the ball at the high post?

Please , for the love of basketball, don’t try to influence me that he is good 😂😂😂 , you know why he gets love from fans ?Only because he runs his mouth, that’s it ! Everyone knows he is NO threat . Yes he grabs a rebound or two but at 7 foot tall, he should be able to do more than he does .

All of our losses have come to Q1 teams, so I don't expect them to start laying eggs at the end of the season. I probably just jinxed it.

He’d get more rebounds at the low post. His spot is at the high post.

Uros has the best FG% on the team. He’s the 3rd best rebounder.

He can be ok against certain opponents bit can be a liability against others. Everything I think I'm done with him he comes in and plays well. He was pretty good against Auburn. Even coerced them into a technical.

This is not a trap game and Crean is likely gone after this season.

6 points and 7 rebounds in 18 minutes against Auburn’s 2 first round front court players?
