Is the UGA game a trap?

Yes. And we can lose to anyone when we go cold on the road.

Georgia has put up some points this year. Just seems like their D is terrible. Almost every team scores more than 80 on them. It's happened in 9 of their last 12 games and they almost never hold anyone under 70. In contrast, we've only given up 80+ twice this entire season ( @ Kentucky and vs A&M --- the latter of which we still won).

I think we take care of business, but it does feel a bit like a "trap game" to me and hope our guys are fired up for it and ready to get some revenge!

6 points and 7 rebounds in 18 minutes against Auburn’s 2 first round front court players?
Again I don’t care what he done in one game . He hasn’t proven anything worthy yet . Just go watch the game threads . So many comments of “get Uros out of the game “, get posted ! I assure I’m not the only one who feels this way . How many games has he started and seen the bench after the first 5 minutes and hardly ever got valuable minutes . You all can ride that horse all day , but I ain’t going to . If he plays 18 minutes in the tourneys , Tn will lose .

This is not a trap game and Crean is likely gone after this season.
Any game going on the road after a big win has trap potential especially from a betting perspective. This is the kind of game that makes the books a lot of money w/ bettors betting on TN. That’s all I mean. TN isn’t going lose but will they beat GA by more than 16? Depends on how much they enjoyed the win over Auburn and their focus on finishing strong.

Averages 4.1 points and 3.6 rebounds a game , that’s not gonna win you many games in the tourney .
In how many minutes per game? He’s a role player, not a big minute contributor. Why single him out to bash him? He’s a good teammate and fills the role CRB asks or he wouldn’t continue playing.

Not bashing. I said clearly in above post I like his attitude . Just don’t think he is there yet like folks think . If he plays significant minutes , TN ain’t winning anything in the tourney . Oscar was gonna eat him up , Aidoo come in and limited Oscar somewhat.

You said “Nothing good happens when Uros comes in”. Most folks read that as bashing but maybe you really didn’t mean it or something. I’ve not read anybody saying he’s great or really good, but he has provided some solid post minutes in several games regardless of what the jackwagons in the game threads may post.

It's not like we're running good him out there for 30 minutes a game and asking him to win games for us. He's a role player. Role players average 4 and 4 in limited minutes and bring a good attitude to the team. They don't demand 30 minutes and are happy to contribute where they can.

Please , for the love of basketball, don’t try to influence me that he is good 😂😂😂 , you know why he gets love from fans ?Only because he runs his mouth, that’s it ! Everyone knows he is NO threat . Yes he grabs a rebound or two but at 7 foot tall, he should be able to do more than he does .
He should be able to do more than he does, yes. But, by no means, does that force you to keep him on the bench. He’s the best post passer, he’s good at ball screen offense, he rebounds (which we NEED), and chips in a few points. Not every player has to score 20 points every game. It’s a good thing you aren’t a coach because you wouldn’t keep very many players. It’s a developmental type of game and he definitely has to be on the floor for short periods of time to help us. Also, with your logic, HH and Aidoo should sit on the bench as well because they produce the same amount recently. Should we just never play our posts?

He’d get more rebounds at the low post. His spot is at the high post.

Uros has the best FG% on the team. He’s the 3rd best rebounder.
Don't come with facts, this guy has CONVICTION and a 1st grade level understanding of punctuation. Clearly his gut feeling is more important than your numbers.

I think they’ve mailed it in and Crean is done. Vols by 18.
They live to beat UF and UT. Vols better show up ready and with their A game. Their season is shot, but beating UT tonight would ease a lot of frustration. UT can make 'em quit, but if they mess around at let UGA hang close, UGA can and will bite us.

Same here. Granted we don't play at Georgia every season but still. The 2017-18 lost there. Our last team to win at UGA was Pearl's last team and that was Brian Williams' buzzer beater.

Good grief...I remember that play and not believing they didn't call him for an over the back. So hard to believe that is the last time we won down there.
