Is the world better off with the nation of Israel?

If I buy property in Georgia, can Tennessee annex it?

I'm being serious, because I don't know.

Well years ago during the drought, Georgia wanted to redraw the state line to gain access to the TN River near Chattanooga. Apparently the surveyors in the 1800's were off by several thousand feet (iirc) and the correct coordinates would of meant GA caught a tip of the river. GA even threatened to take it to court. TN Governor sent the GA a case of bottled water.

That didn't really answer my question.

If I am a resident of a state (or country) and I purchase land in another state (or country), can my home state (or country) annex that property?

I know it did not, just an anecdote. You know the answer.

Requires an act of Congress. Although from what I am reading the state losing land may not have a say in the matter. Like if TN got 50 senators it may not matter that Georgia would vote against.

Now as to Israel/Palestine it depends. Is it considered international or interstate.

If international:
You could Russia it, invade, hold a vote, then annex. Or even annex first then invade. Which is kinda what is happening in israel/Palestine.

If interstate it seems like it is down to the ruling government. So if Israel creates laws for Palestine it would only be up to Israel's ruling body.

This is an actual thing going on right now. Ga is trying to move the state line near Chattanooga because they want access to the river. They need water for Atlanta. The people who live there do not want to pay Ga taxes so they’re basically saying F you. If enough people who lived in Tennessee wanted to be part of Ga there’s a good chance that would happen

Buy a motorhome anywhere and see which state taxes it when you put $25 license plates on it in Tennessee. It ain't cheap. I can't complain though, Tennessee is a low tax state, especially once that Hall income tax goes away.

This registers in the "the sky is falling" category. Money talks and BS walks, so if they want our water pay for it or don't build your largest city in a watershed with no water. FU Atlanta take your Lexus drivers cutting in front of my RV at 90 mph and 3" away and kiss my Tennessee A$$!.

I always tell people driving down here, if you give someone a full car length of space between you and the next car you are asking the guy in the lane next to you to merge in.

It’s not just in Atlanta , it’s called the ten foot rule in California , in New York , New Jersey it’s can I get my bumper in that open spot because he will back off if I can . In Pennsylvania on the turn pike they will just flat out move you out of the way and on 64 coming out of Norfolk they play bumper cars everyday .

I don't know that answer but the question isn't applicable to the Israeli/Palestinian situation.
How is it not applicable? An Israeli buys land in the Palestinian Authority, and then Israel/Netanyahu threatens to annex it. How is that any different than me buying land in Trenton or Rossville and the Tennessee governor threatens to annex the property?

The Palestinian Authority only exists because the Israelis allow it.
