I'll keep picking against the Vols then. Every win helps Memphis. Plus, I have no love for the Gators.

Good win today for Counzo. Maybe some of the "casual Vol basketball fans" will cut him some slack now.

I'll admit I haven't seen Tennessee play this year, but I don't get why Vols fans are already writing this off. We've lost every single true road game we've played this year and the 11am start time is probably going to affect us as the traveling team more than the Vols.

Also, a lot of people forget this, but back in the days when Tennessee had Pearl there was a time when we could never beat the Vols. Traditionally, the Vols have always been a "tough out" for us. We've won 4 or 5 straight now, but Florida fans never take the Vols lightly in basketball.

So, I think this will be a tough game for us and we could easily lose. Hopefully our guys embrace the challenge of getting their first true road victory of the season and come out ready to play.

Coach Martin got his first win against a top 25 team halfway through his first season. Going into his 3rd year, surely Pastner has done that multiple times. :whistling:
