Is this state-sponsored terrorism?

To me, this really points out the difference.

9/11 was designed to intimidate and strike fear into Americans as a whole. Bin Laden knew he could not defeat the American government but with enough intimdiation he could influence the American people to put pressure on the US government.

Killing top nuclear scientists isn't going to result in the Iranian populace fearing further attacks and changing views. It's intended to directly derail the nuke program by destroying key assets of the program.

What was he hoping to get us to pressure the government to do? Change US foreign policy? Nah, that can't be it. The terrorists just hate us for our freedom, it can't be anything we've ever done!

(note: not accusing you of being one of the clueless. I have no idea what your stance is)

TRUT...Bible does not say "thou shalt not kill." King James did. Bible says "though shalt not shed innocent blood."

I'm not really for killing anyone but I view this the same as Volinbham.

Two countries at war with each other using covert ops.

Not about religion.

I see assassination as a tactic. I see terrorism as a strategy. Sometimes assassination is a tactic used in an overall strategy of terrorism. Sometimes it is not.

Looks like a clear cut case of workplace violence to me.

Oh wait, maybe it was just a simple traffic accident.

Not only does GS apparently support these acts, he thinks it is funny that these unarmed non-combatants are being killed.
