I only root for opposing teams that help the Vols. So no, it's not the first time and it probably won't be the last. Go Gata! Now excuse me while I go............

Univ of Florida was put on this earth to screw with Tennessee and they will always do the exact opposite of what will help us. It’s in their nature.

Therefore my thought about the game tomorrow is expect an Ole Miss win and enjoy sunbelt Billy going down in flames. However if they do by chance end Kiffin’s playoff hopes will be pleasantly surprised.

I will be rooting hard AGAINST Ole Miss. There will be zero feelings in me of support for the Gators. It's just what we need to have happen.

I know there have been other weird times in the past that I had to root for Florida.

It is great to at least be in the picture again. Sure it is frustrating that we keep choking with Heupel but it is FAR BETTER than where we have been in the past. I still think Heupel is the best coach Tennessee has had in my lifetime.

Honestly, I've been rooting for the Gators already for the past few weeks to improve and win just enough to justify retaining Napier. In the grand scheme of things, who really wants to see Kiffin land at UF if they do indeed cut Napier loose? Kiffin could do a lot of damage recruiting at UF, and I don't think I could take a double dose of disappointment each year losing to our most hated rival being coached by that guy. As long as Napier's there, we'll always win our share against them, and more. I keep the emotions out of it and just look at it as wishing for the outcome that benefits us the most.

I don't know, I've probably rooted for them here and there if it benefited UT.. They're just another conference rival to me, no better or worse than Bama, UGa, or UK.

The two teams I actively hate the most at the moment are Texas (the arrogance and the cake schedule) and Missouri (Dickwitz).

Never did I ever think I would be rooting for OSU over Indiana of all teams, but Go Bucks!
We need OSU to win by at least 21 points to pass Indiana.
Unfortunately, OSU has a lot of injuries including losing their starting center this week.
Remember how we looked without Cooper last year.

I don’t think I’ve ever unabashedly rooted for them. I believe this is the first time their winning could directly impact Tennessee in a positive way in all my years of watching. I think they beat Georgia in 03 to allow us to tie for the East, but Georgia wound up going to Atlanta over us anyway. This feels weird.
I would never think of rooting for either of them much less put it in writing. I don't care what is on the line. I hope a P-Diddy party breaks out on the field Saturday in Gainesville.
