If she is not eligible for retirement it may be. I am do not know much about the retirement requirements for Tennessee State employees, but in many States, an employee with 35 years of service and has reached the age of 55 can retire.
I don't think she will retire and will stick it out as long as possible. I think it depends on what happens in the tournaments this year and how recruitment goes this Spring and next November.
