I have no idea what that means. All ethical or moral choices are personal, thus subjective and individualistic.

I guess I didn't get the point of your post (or maybe you didn't get the point of my first one about utilitarianism). I was speaking in terms of government decision-makers. Between a utilitarian, a moral authoritarian, and an individualist, I'll choose the individualist, because people are stupid. I don't want stupid people telling me what to do.

I wasn't referring to ethics on a governmental level, but they do apply on that level also.

You are going to have to define "moral authoritarian" and "individualist" because I have no idea what you mean.

Of course. Every utilitarian is holds deontological morals in social vacuum.

Well, depending upon who it is that defines ethics, ethics can be practical guides while morals are absolutes. I think it is possible that a community can dictate consequentialist ethical rules and an individual within the communiy could live according to deontological morals. I need t work that out, though.

You made my point for me. Ethics (morality on a social scale) must be practical because we are social beings. There are no absolutes. Everything is relative. A rational being will always act according to his or her own deontological morality as long as that decision has relatively little consequence upon another's life. The more lives that are effected by such a decision or action, the more consequentialistic the decision becomes.

EU to PA Arabs: We'll Help You 'Grab Land' - Defense/Security - News - Israel National News

The battle for control of Judea and Samaria – and specifically Area C, which, according to the Oslo Accords, is under Israeli military and political control – may come down to a “horse race,” if the European Union decides to act on a policy paper that was published by Hebrew daily Yediot Achronot Thursday. According to the document, "Area C and Palestinian state building," the EU plans to encourage, and fund, Arab building and development in Area C, without bothering to seek Israeli approval for projects, and in violation of laws regarding zoning, security, and the environment.

Under the Oslo Accords, Judea and Samaria is divided into three areas:

Area A, which is fully administered by the PA, and which Israelis are banned from even entering – both by Israel and the PA; Area B, which is formally under Israeli security control, but is under PA control for all other purposes; and Area C, consisting for the most part of the “settlement blocs,” such as Gush Etzion, Ma'aleh Adumim, and the Jewish towns in Samaria in the vicinity of Ariel. Some 90% of Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria live in Area C, while the PA Arab population of the area is barely 6%.

Mitzpe Avichai Residents Evicted, Homes Demolished - Defense/Security - News - Israel National News

Residents told Arutz Sheva that the forces entered the homes and forced whole families – including mothers, infants, and small children – into the near-freezing cold rain that fell overnight Wednesday. Residents said they were not deterred, however, and would rebuild. “Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak are tough when it comes to pushing around the heroes that are building the Land of Israel, but not so tough when it comes to the Bedouin takeover of the Negev and the wholesale illegal Arab building,” residents told Arutz Sheva.

Speaking of the events, MK Michael Ben-Ari (National Union) said that “the demolition of Mitzpeh Avichai and the eviction of infants in the freezing weather is a further sign of the deterioration of Netanyahu's government, which destroys the homes of Jews but fears to enforce the law against Arabs.

Let's not talk about the IDF's demolitions in the Gaza Strip or the West Bank.
