Ohio State, Georgia idk about but Texas we would beat the absolute hell out of them. That game wouldn’t be close and it wouldn’t be pretty for them.

Here is my summary.

Tennessee beats Georgia and Kentucky we are #1 or worse case #2 because they slobber all over Ohio State. We don't want #1 bullz-eye on us right now so who cares?

Texas - That is rich because Texas still needs to beat Kansas first. Frankly, there is no way Texas is beating Oklahoma State AND TCU. May lose to them both. Texas is all hype. Every year they beat some good and then turn around and lose to a Big12 bottom feeders. They cannot beat bottom feeders. I can totally see them beating Alabama or Georgia in the SEC and then losing to Vanderbilt the next week. That is the **** they pull all of the time in the Big12 (already lost to garbage Texas Tech in OT this year for example). Texas just doesn't get up and beat mediocre teams.

Only time #1 matters is when there are no games left to be played. Take care of business and the rankings take care of themselves. Being an underdog has its advantages.

I agree with your post. Plus the Playoff committee is the only one that matters, though they wait until first week in November.

I don’t think they will do it, but the committee could rank us @ number two after TN beats KY. Being one or two gives a team an opportunity to climb back into contention if a couple of teams stumble. I’m not sure how far we would drop with a loss to UGA, hopefully just a few spots. We would need UGA to beat Bama and no undefeated PAC 12 teams.

It is so much fun that we are having this conversation as it’s great to be relevant nationally once again. It’s been too long!!!

Yea that’s what I’m most excited and shocked about. I’m honestly just gonna enjoy the ride of whatever happens this season. Pretend like we’re 0-0 every week. It’s been working well so far
