I know I am new here, but I was wondering if I could get a title under my avatar......

How about "VolNation's Washington Insider" ?

Send a PM to vol_freak. He's the local title-giver-outer . It might cost you a couple of hot dogs though.

And I'm a teeny bit afraid of storms.

:(

I used to be then I told myself it was God bowling with all of his friends
How strange- I used to be told the same thing as an explanation for Republicans, and why we should be afraid. Very, very afraid.

Sorry, folks.

I'm an alterkcocker.

Back in the times before 9/11, it was not just a responsibility but an obligation to loudly object when our government acted assinine.

Hell- things are so bad now that claiming you are a defender of the Constitution is considered "Liberal"

Speaking of assinine- what's your current, politically driven definition of "liberal"

I am a registered independant.

I believe that the two-party system is the cause for a lot of problems in this country. I more than likely lean conservative on some issues, but in my own platform and "plan for America" I have some very "interesting" ideas.

As for my def. of a liberal, it would be someone that believes that the government needs to do more for the people. Someone that obviously believes in pro-choice in a woman's right to play God with the life of her baby, but that doesn't think that people should carry guns, or defend themselves when provoked.

(That makes me sound awful "conservative", but I assure you there are things in my platform that would make the "Shrubs" cringe.

Is that a derivative of altercate? :dunno:
No, it's a derivative of 43 felony convictions by members of Ronald Reagan's cabinet, the majority for lying to Congresss, and the majority of which were subsequently given Presidential Pardons by Bush-the-Elder.
