Not only is he fabricating an excuse to cheer for Kiffin, he’s trying to convince other people to join him.Why would we want Ole Miss to win? It hurts our strength of schedule and could allow them to sneak back into the playoff conversation. Not to mention it could make Georgia desperate during our game.
This is the best and only answerI think we want UGA to win this weekend
1. Dont want to play desperate UGA team
2. Helps SOS
3. Eliminates Ole Miss
If we play it forward, if Ole Miss beats UGA and UGA beats us, we are all 10-2 assuming win out. UGA gets in over us 100% and Ole Miss very well could (especially if LSU beats Bama).
If UGA beats Ole Miss and then beats us, we have a road loss against top 2 team and Ole Miss is eliminated. That is better for us.
Us Beating UGA is best case but UGA beating Ole Miss gives us more avenues to the playoff...
Yea on the first, nay on the second. Need Bama to keep winning for SOS. We don’t compare favorably to LSU if we both end up with two losses, given that they boat-raced Arky. Meanwhile we have a head-to-head dub over Bama along with a shot at beating the other team that beat them.GO DAWGS and GEAUX TIGERS!!!!
I see your point, but I’m banking on us winning out number one, and if we don’t, LSU losing one of its other games. Fla, Vandy, Okla. hYea on the first, nay on the second. Don't have to pull for OM to beat a team that we get to play ourselves. If anything u want UGA to have 1 loss when we play to boost our resume with a win. A loss to OM does more harm than good for usAny other time I'd much rather see Kiffin get a "Stiffin", but like I said, It sickens me to have to pull for him this weekend.
I'll give you the final say.
God Bless Josh Heupel either way, at least we can all agree on that.
The only reasons I can come up with for LSU winning being a positive is 1)Bama loses and has no chance at the playoff, 2) if LSU loses to Florida, Vandy or Oklahoma causing both to be eliminated, or 3) LSU makes the SEC Championship since they only have one conference loss, then gets boat raced in that game giving them a third overall loss.Yea on the first, nay on the second. I get it, but if we lose to UGA (or Vandy), regardless of OM/UGA results, we're going to potentially be in the mix with up to 6 other teams, where who knows how many teams will go to playoffs. NCAA will have a problem on their hands if the SEC gets screwed, so I think we'll get 4-5 teams in. I think we just beat UGA, and want OM to beat UGA...imagine the gnashing of teeth for UGA fans to not be in the first playoffs. Don't think will happen though. I still think ultimately, it's UGA/TX rematch in SECCG.I think we want UGA to win this weekend
