To get to the SB. I just heard that stat on Rome (funny he's not there today). How sweet would it be to see Manning vs. Manning in next years SB? Odds are against it, I know. But it would be cool.

Props to Eli. Represent the SEC!!!:salute::rock:
Beat the snot out of Belicheat!!!:vava::the_finger:

EDIT!!!! This is in no way a put down of Peyton but rather an in your face to the Eli haters!

It's more about Eli than the SEC. Just cause your a Pats fan doesn't mean you have to be a hater.

Oh...my bad. You ARE a negavol. Why would anything else be any different?

It would be nice to see:

A Manning beat Tom Brady for the second year in a row.

A Manning win the SB for the second year in a row.

A Giants win would also mean Randy Moss and Terrell Owens will have something else in common, no SB ring.

all that said, the Patriots are going to roll over the NYG much like they rolled over the Redskins.

I hate the Patriots. As a Vol fan, Eli Manning being the QB of the Giants won't make things anymore enjoyable should the GMen triumph.

Why is it more about Eli than the rest of the SEC?

Donte Stallworth and Kelley Washington are former UT players on the Patriots.

Gibril Wilson, played for Tennessee, is a starting safety for the Giants.

Seymour and Watson played at UGA they're on the Patriots.

Corey Webster, a CB on the Giants, played for the LSU Tigers.

Can they not represent the SEC?

You're absolutely right. I hope every single player on the field plays their best....and that the G Men win.

BTW Who would've thunk KW and DS would have a chance to win a SB? Together!?!?!?!

If I'm wrong, the my bad and my apologies. Your avatar and "Ride off" comment led me to believe otherwise. :hi:

The title of this thread appears like something a negavol would say.

If you want to bring Vols into this:

Peyton Manning is a Vol. Eli is a Rebel.

#Vols on Pats roster > #Vols on Giants roster

Isn't Peytons' brother worth some love?:)

And if I remember correctly...KW and DS weren't always the most popular Vols?

How do you think these guys would do on the same team?:)

I guess this means you agree with my sentiment?:)

I have no problem with either of them. I know Kelley Washington isn't popular, but most of the guys that disapprove of him have no idea what they are talking about.

"The Future"?

Consummate team player?

Most would argue that he was more about me than we?

I never met him. I also never heard about a teammate having his back.

You may know him better than me.

I know he practiced harder than anyone on the team and made it his mission to completely embarrass every DB we had every afternoon. I know that no one that hates Washington can bring up a single valid reason for why he feels that way.

I thought I just did.:ermm:

Aspiring to be the SINGLE best player on the field doesn't work in the overall TEAM scheme of things.

Every player should aspire to be the best at his position. If there are any Vols that do not, I'd welcome their transfer. Do you think Montario Hardesty doesn't want to unseat Arian Foster? Don't you think Coleman/Crompton/Stephens are going to try to beat each other this offseason?

That's not at all what I said and you know it. Each year players are asked to change positions because it's what is best for the TEAM***. Of course every player (should) wants to be the best. But it should be team first, individual second.

Unrealistic? Maybe. But then again, I'm a glass 1/2 full guy.

***Not that KW was ever asked. Just an example.

It's stupid that I even have to add the *** but required due to the lack on common sense so commonly displayed here.

When was KW asked to change positions?

it's exactly what you said. Kelley Washington got hurt and for that reason UT fans hate him.
