Everybody needs to calm down and be patient. This year will be tough because we're young, lack depth in the trenches and are developing many talented freshmen. Next year will be a transition year with another good recruiting class developing. We will contend in 2 years provided we find quality quarterback. Worley showed great character and toughness, but there is simply nobody to back him up. He won't last the whole season with the beating he's taking if we don't protect him better. I've been following UT football for 40 years and I've been through good seasons and bad. This down cycle too will end. We have the right coach for the job.

I agree with most of your post, but this team seems to be growing up faster than many of us realized possible. I bought my first season tickets in 1967 (every year since) and have seen all the changes since Doug Dickey. If we can stay consistent and win the ones we should win, we can also win a couple more the pundits have said we could not win. I agree with someone else on Volnation that we have possibly played the two best teams we will face this year in Oklahoma and Georgia.
