Arrested Development and Sunny are two of the funniest shows on TV ever. I've not seen the wire but have been meaning to check it out.

A bit underwhelming but I still enjoyed myself. They always seem to start seasons off a bit slow so we're all good. The gagging was funny, as was the Charlie/Frank plot.

It wasn't the greatest episode, but it definitely set the stage for a great season. This marriage is going to be comedy gold.

I thought it was a relatively so-so first episode. I hope they haven't changed the writing lineup from last season. Last season was just superb: "And there is a twist. We show it. We show ALL of it."

Here is how I rank the characters:
(1) Charlie (by far)
(2) Dennis
(3) Dee
(4) Frank
(5) Mac

And I do realize that Rob Mcelhenny (who plays Mac) is like the main guy behind the show. But I just think Mac's character is the weakest of the bunch.

Who are yall's favorite Sunny characters?

Frank took Sunny over the top. It was a really good show without him, but it is great with him. Frank and Charlie are my top 2.

Frank, Charlie, and Dee are atop my list. None of them have anything to do but show up and be stupid. Mac and Dennis are usually too involved in the story and moving it along.

Agreed. First season doesn't compare to the later ones after Devito joined the cast.

Dennis being a complete dick is always good for laughs. "You're the one that's good" "Do you have any more makeup you could put on?" "Now you're kind of a third wheel" etc.

Season has been disappointing so far, thank God for uncle Jack being the only saving grace .
On the other hand, The League has been stellar so far.
